.The Nightmare Begins.

My annual Vincent Valentine piece (I have noticed that I draw him at least once every year, two times if I am lucky). I don't know how it became a tradition of mine but it's nice to have something to fall back to and compare every year!
He has been my favourite character for many years.

I am falling in love with my traditional medium all over again. Here, I've used Copic markers as a base for colour (just a light solid colour) and then going over to add shade and detail with Faber Castell Polychromos colour pencils. I add baby oil in areas of pencil that I really want to pop or smoothen. Anyone interested in my technique, please ask, I'll be happy to help and if enough people want to know, maybe I will make a tutorial in anyone is interested

I have recently been practising very hard with more dynamic poses, better anatomy and different backgrounds (I need to draw stuff besides flowers etc.)! I sincerely hope that I am improving in these aspects but who knows.
I kind of regret not doing figure drawings earlier in my high school years and waiting this long (in my busiest university years) but I guess better late than never.
